They can usually tell you at 20 weeks but some DR.'s won't tell you my son is 7 years old and my DR. said there was no reason to do another ultrasound I am haveing a wonderful pregnancy and the baby seems fine. I went a paid another DR. to do it and found out it was a boy.

Between 18 and 22 weeks. Most OB/GYN practices schedule an ultrasound during that time frame. You should be able to find out then.

Most doctors like to weight until the mother is around the 20th week of pregnancy, that way they have a better chance of seeing. If they check to soon the baby may not be developed enough to be able to tell.

usually they like to wait until 20 weeks, i found out the sex of both my boys when i was 16 weeks, and with this one i found out it was a boy at 19 weeks. Just depends on when your dr wants the ultrasound done!

It should be around the 20th week just to be sure. I found out last week (my 22nd week.) and although nothing looked that clear, they were able to point out the sex organs, which is the deciding factor of the gender of the baby
