There's alot of people that have been thru this situation and they got their iPod fixed. So please if you have something smart to say just don't bother answering.

Indeed, the ipod is dead. Long live your ipod. Ive been there and as much as it hurts you have no option but to replace it.

I know you must have already returned your ipod to the store but for me the same thing happpened to me (it went into the wash) so (listen to this bit) i plugged the ipod (which wasnt working) in the ipod plug thing where you plug into the computer and then take it out after i connects to the computer and it works but now im really screwed cause i now got it stuck in beetween the car boot and the screens all screwed up but anyway hope it works :)

This probably sounds insensitive - but you're most likely going to have to get a new iPod. Electronics and water really don't mix, and iPods are not the most hardy of electronics - taking it apart and drying it super carefully works for some things, but at this point? It's probably broken. I'm really sorry.

Buy an iAudio A2 instead and don't wash it next time. Don't try to return it, it isn't the store's fault that you put it through the wash.

I'm sorry but it's dead.You could PROBALY go to some store and MAYBE get it repaired but I'd doubt you would.You have to buy a new iPod now.
