Since we've had dish, we forgot it still comes on. Anyone else had this happen. Or did you just get burned out on it?

Yes, I know a lot of people who do. Many of us consider it "adult" humour. It's similar in the old Popeye cartoons, where you need to be an adult to understand so of the inuendoes, and jokes, and references to society, media, and politics. I've probably not seen hundreds of the episodes yet. I try to watch the Simpsons every night at 10pm, because I might see one I really like, or might see an episode I never watched. 2 of my favorites were the Hot Pepper from Guatimala, and the Tron episode where we wore 3d glasses to see it in 3d. I'll be 75 years old and still watch the Simpsons.

"that show lost its appeal years ago"
Its still a cleverly plotted show with good laughs. I can still get interested in it. Its just become stale, hopefully the guys t fox won't make a spin off ( the simppsons "all growned up")

I still wach the show...and the movie is coming out July 27th, 2007.

i haven't gotten burned out on it yet although i feel i'm slowly making my way there. I love the show but i don't watch it as much as i used to. Its good but lately i 've been getting more into the reading thing and i preferr to spend my time elsewhere most of the time. But like i said its stil one of my favorite shows. On Sundays they have new episodes and they're very inventive.

'If I flick through the channels and see the Simpson's I will almost always watch it, but it's not something I wait for or know what time it is regularly on anymore.
