A Yankee can be done alone, but can be a shared experience.
A Yankee done alone is called a wanker.
A wanker is a not a pretty thing unless shared, and again returns to a Yankee.

Perhaps, one time on TV a sports announcer referred to the other team and the New York Yankers and Grassy did a double take and asked a friend from NY that confirmed it was a derogatory term for the Yankees. The first time is always the funniest. Only with a partner Honey, are you available?
