Men and women are DIFFERENT!!!!!!!! Why this obsession with equality? What really defines equality? It nearly always comes down to money, and there are still some issues to deal with there but I consider the crucial point is being missed. We are different, so lets work on how to celebrate, utilise and, dare I say it, exploit those differences. Once we accept that men are better at some things and women are better at others, and sometimes we are just people good and bad at stuff regardless of gender, we might be a lot happier. I am a woman in the construction trade and I'm grateful to the feminists who made this a possible option for me. I can't always keep up physically with men at work and they can't give birth. So no equality there but a balance. Isn't that better?

No.
I think equalty is progressing, but that doesn't mean women and men are functioning at a higher level. Just ask N.A.S.A.

Your premise assumes that the notion of forced 'equality' was the perfect answer. Maybe there's a better one. Good question.
