and the reason I say caucasian is that some of them think it's ok to say the N word and then they justify it by saying that black people use it or that we should not get upset or whatever, but if someone makes a racial remark about them, they get upset.

Racist (not all white) are hypocrites. They believe its OK to be rude to a whole race of people, but If they meet one rude person of a different race, the whole race are bunch of n*****s. Anyone who chooses a life different than theirs are wrong. They are the complainers, the whiners.

I think it goes both ways. Some brown folks have made a society of which they do not provide the same treatment to caucasian people. (pink people)
Everyone is too poltically correct anymore. I hate having to tip-toe around everything because you might offend someone. Can we just say what we want to say and if someone's little feelings gets hurt, they except it and move on.
Bottomline: You are right. The N word should not be said, however, who uses it more? You will not catch a pink person saying the word ---especially around a bunch of brown people. Rather, I think it might be more likely to hear a bunch of brown people referring to one another with that word.
Now, I know you think there are a lot of racist people in the US. And, hey there might be....but we have gone leaps and bounds from just when I was a kid. There are many mixed relationships and people are a lot more acceptable. I think as time passes, it will only get better for everyone.

Because some white people are stupid creatures that think using the N is justified because some blacks use it. Little do these people know the N word ******... is a term of endearment when blacks use it but just the opposite for whites because of the degrading way it was served to blacks in the U.S. since slavery and beyond. I love when whites say blacks feel like they are owed something thats hilarious simply because if that were true... What would a black person want from a white person...your money...power...couldnt be freedom blacks already have that! I think all blacks want respect especially from whites. Whites have it easy in this country and really have nothing to complain about so why cry over the fact that you cannot use the N word. Its a sad way to control everything and if whites we ever allowed to use that word again it would just bring racism back in full force. Whites do not belong calling anyone the N word even if it is another white. I think anyone that is white that wants to use the N word should earn the right for it to come out their mouth. Go perform duties of a slave see what its like to be hung or pick cotton and work your fingers to the bone for someone who treats u like an animal!

Why are there so many racists in the US would be a better question. You are making a racist statement here by saying Caucasians are racist. Racism has to do with demeaning people because of their race, something you are doing. And then you try to justify your racism by your final comment. You say it is alright to make racist remarks about whites. I think you need to stop and think about this. Racism is racism whoever is doing it. You have displayed a racist streak here.

There's racists everywhere and everyone is racist. It's just a part of life why even ask such an unanswerable question? You think racism is bad here? Over in Europe during the last world cup the crowd chanted the N word at this black player and threw bananas at him. In Europe they are seriously racist they never had civil rights movements in Europe. But compare Portugal to the US, who's got it better?

Why is it "OK" for a black person to use this N word, but it is unacceptable for whites to use it? Why is it acceptable for a black to call a white a cracker? Why do blacks holler "racism" every time they do not get their way? So here to answer YOUR question......I don't think anyone should use the N word, especially people of color. Its the most degrating word in the world and why anyone would want to be called that is beyond me.
Personally I would laugh at someone dead in the face if they called me a honky or cracker. That doesn't bother me, those are the dumbest names I have ever heard.
People in general need to lighten up. I treat people how they treat me, regardless what color skin they have.

Let me answer your question with another. Why do so many black people think they are entitled to special treatment when it comes to certain things. Martin Luther Kind fought for EQUAL treatment. Their sense of entitlement (of some) and puts a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention I think they still view white people as slave drivers even though it is 2007. I think the definition of a ****** is a person (black or white) who can't get off their *** and make a positive contribution to society instead of living off the hard earned money of others. It is up to everyone to define their own life.

I have read the response to some of the answers that you recieved but honestly everyone feels that we owe them something for the things that they had to suffer. It is a cycle that will never end. It is not only the blacks, there are other races that feels the same way as the blacks do. Every culture, nationality, race, religion as endured something in its owe time(meaning as the past). Everyone just has to learn not to live in the past of everything and learn to live for the future ad what it has to offer for you and our children.

I am white (Norweigian) and it seems that some (not all) caucasians are very ignorant. Some like to think that they so much better than anyone with any kind color. I really don't like a lot of white people for that same reason. I'm married to a Filipino, and my stepfather is Mexican. I'm used to people of different races, maybe others we're so lucky to be brought up with such an open mind.

ok let me rant, in response 2 the guy above me, its not ok for blacks 2 call whites crackers, they know its wrong 2...
and blacks use the n-word, prolly because they have been calling eachother that word since slavery, so now its part of their sub-culture within the united states
also, think about it like this. blacks shouldnt say cracker, whites shouldnt say ******
but also, blacks will call their white homeboyz ****@ as well as fellow blacks...
so it kinda works out
