The brightness of your monitor could also be set very high, try lowering it till it looks like the image of your printer, then adjust the brightness and contrast of your picture to your liking in photoshop or any other image editing software and print it. It could be a temporary solution.

Another solution could be to download and install de color profiles for your monitor, so the printer gets a closer idea of how your pics look on your screen.

I dont see how you are a computer tech when you can say that, that is definately the problem. It could be a few different things, dont think its your printer that is messed up automatically. Update your printer driver, uninstall and reinstall your printer software. Try printing from another program and see what it looks like. Make sure you are using the right kind of ink. Check paper type.. Dont listen to that "computer_tech" how rediculous, I AM a tech and I know she is full of sh1t...

It is not necessary a printer problem try printing out a colour bar chart and then adjust the monitor to match the colours as close as possible.

Well try doing some test prints in the settings of the printer and try checking there are no leakages from your ink cartridges.

The problem is with that printer. Have it repaired or get a replacement.
