I have a credit score of 538 and am working with a credit repair group. I had a miscarriage and my husband filed for divorce all within months of each other and had suffered sever depression. As a result I lost my job and was unable to pay my bills. I have since then am getting back on track and have a steady job. Unfortunately, I now have a repo on my credit and owe about $5K for various things. None of which is credit card debt. I want to move into my own place (I'm living with my mother), is it possible to be able to get approved to rent my own place with such a low score?

Plus if you are working with a credit repair group then that is a plus too!!!!!
