Generally,if (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are two points in plane then the distance between them is sq.rt{(x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2}

If its three dimensional space & the co-ordinates of two points are(x1,y1,z1) and (x2,y2,z2) then the distance between them is
sq.rt{(x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2+(z1-z2)^2}
