Congrats to you!
I was induced at 10:00pm on a Sunday night. My water broke around 1:30am Monday morning. My baby was born at 3:18pm Monday afternoon.
The length of your labor all depends on how big the baby is, the position the baby is in, when your water breaks, the condition of your cervix, whether you're induced, whether you get an epidural, and just plain genetics.
Good luck!

My first (from first real contraction to birth) was about 12 hours but the contractions were so light I stayed at home for about 7 of those 12 hours before my water broke and I had to go to the hospital. I was at the hospital for 5 hours but only the last 2 hours were hard. Pushed 3 times.
My second was 5 hours from the time my water broke (I was in a grocery store parking lot loading groceries into the car when it broke) till the time my son was born but again only the last 2 hours were hard. Pushed 3 times.
Im 15 weeks pregnant with my third and Im hoping this one will be shorter than the first two.. but every pregnancy and labor is different. Good Luck with yours!

My first child I went into labor with mild contractions...nothing major, went to the hospital the next morning and they stopped!! Went home slept all day long and the they started again that night around 12 am once again!! Got to the hospital at 9am on my induction day and they sped the labor along with the induction...well 18 hours, three hours of which I pushed ( push as hard as you can...i did not realize just how hard you have to push!) I finally got a baby!! As long as this sounds, it was not unpleasant...after nine hours of pretty intense labor, I did get an epidural...the rest of the time went well! I felt great after having my baby!!
.
My second went for 9 hours and ended up being an emergency C-section.
The docs and nurses will do all they can to make labor as comfortable and calming as possible. Totally positive experience for me!

I was 3 days overdue from my due date. My doctor scheduled an induction. At 5:30am the stared the drip. She was born by c-section at 10:32 at night. The C-section was only because her head was big and her heart rate dropped with each contraction. Expect about 12 hrs. Not all of it hard labor, but everyone is different. I've had freinds deliver in 20 minutes and it be their first.

I have 4 boys here's the labor times
#1 19 hours including 2 hours of active pushing
#2 18 hours including 4 hours of pushing
#3 6 hours including 20 minutes of pushing
#4 4 hours including only 8 minutes of pushing.
Everybody is different and you might be one of the lucky ones who only labors for a couple of hours and sneezes the baby out.
Good luck!

I've never been pregnant but I'm going to tell you for the people I know who have.
my mom- first child- 32 hours- then c section due to blood loss and unconsciousness.
-second child- 21 minutes- planned c section for me!
jenny- first child- 6 hours
shannon- first child- 4 hours- period like cramps
- second child- 3 hours- period like cramps
-third child- c section due to premature and complications. she was 34 and there was 6-7 years between the 2nd/3rd pregnancy
I've been told that every labour gets easier however everyone is different.
For my borthers gf her first pregnancy was really good but the labour was pure hell. Now pregnant for #2 and she's having the pregnancy from hell so lets hope the labour is good!
