Be honest here. It concerns me. I'm no sexists, but many other world leaders are. For instance, how would a woman president legitimately be able to deal with those crazies in the middle east who consider women a lower form of life? That's the kind of thing that makes me reluctant to vote a woman into the presidency.

The countries that consider women a lower form of life don't agree with a lot of the things we do. A woman president would be the least of our problems.
I am more concerned about getting a woman who is qualified to be Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. But this is not impossible, and not all men are qualified either.
Other countries have women heads of state. Pakistan had Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto for years, and this is a traditional Muslim country.

Why don't you ask the citizens of countries with female presidents? In 2007, a record 13 countries have currently serving, elected female Presidents or Prime Ministers; Ireland, New Zealand, Latvia, Finland, The Philippines, Bangladesh, Mozambique, Iberia, Chile, Jamaica, South Korea, Switzerland, and a Chancellor in Germany. None have renowned ballet companies, or have ever asked neighboring countries if their maps make them look fat. All play some kick-*** soccer.

I think it is a great idea to have a woman president. Maggie Thatcher did good, and other countries too have followed suit. It is only fair to have a woman president, they are equally as capable. I think we need to show some equality in having a woman running for president. I understand what you said about other countries not treating women with as much respect, perhaps they couldnt handle a female leader, but why cant we?

The world should have been ready a long time ago. Regardless of what the other countries think we need to think about which person whether it be a woman or a man who will do the best job. Other countries have women leaders (Margaret Thatcher was a leader for quite awhile).

These countries with terrorists don't respect us anyway.

Well, the right woman would be great. But, Hilary Clinon!? no way hosea! My big problam with her is the fact Bill cheated on her time after time after time, and she didn't do anything about it. She just let him do and stayed with him. To me that shows how weak she truly is. She couldn't handle her out of control cigar toting husband-how the heck can she handle running a country? And as to what other countries think-who cares! We havn't given then a male president to look up to in years-I think having a woman president would help to overcome how other countires see women.

The question is a good one. We have had
Democrats, Republicans, men, now Clinton
trying. No matter how sincere each person
running for office and that have been in office.
That person is still quite limited in what they
can do. The United States has not gotten any
better, we still have high Taxes, High Cost
Medical Coverage/ No Coverage. Low Paying
Jobs/ High Unemployment. Housing Cost high.
Note what Daniel 2:44 reads. Thanks

Indira Gandhi ran India. It's not like a female US President would be the first woman to be a world leader.

I think that the US is ready...I'm not sure about certain countries in the world. My guess is that they wouldn't recognize her as an offical leader and she would have to send male administration members to work with these countries directly.

But, first, we need to find a qualified female presidential candidate and I don't see any in the running.
