if my period started on the 3rd, when will i be most fertile to conceive?

Start trying on Valentines day and go on into the 18th. That is assuming you are on a regular 28 day cycle.
The best way to know is to check your body for clues as to when you actually ovulate. Egg white dischage that can be streched between your fingers is a good sign that you need to get him in the sack with you!!

Here is what I did and it may help. Count the 3rd as day 1. Then use 4th, 5th 6th as days 2, 3, 4. Now when you reach day 5 which would be the 7th start counting over again at 1. If you have a longer cycle this may work for you. If you have a shorter cycle don't count over again.
I used the counting over method and hit my most fertile time right on the dot. I thought I'd share my advice with you and hopefully it will help. :)
Also most women are fertile 10-19 days. Depends on their cycle. Keep that in mind as well.

I just checked the ovulation calendar....... my period also started on Feb 3...and based on a 27 day cycle.... the calendar predicts that I will be ovulating on Feb 15...it also lets you choose if you are trying for a girl or a boy...and will tell you when are your best chances to concieve either.

Generally, if you're ttc, you can have sex every other day until you know that your ovulation has passed.
