I have tried robitussin DM and cough drops and nothing seems to work. My dr. put me on amoxil. last month and that didn't do anything it is as if the cough is getting worse. Can someone please help me I am desperate for answers and no one can tell me what to do. I am also scared that it might be affecting my baby . Thank you for trying to help :)

I would be at the doctor's office so much they thought I was moving in until they gave you a better answer. Two months? I find it harder to breathe now that baby is creeping up on my lungs, but a two month cough seems excessive for no one to be doing anything about it.

My mother-in-law had a severe cough that lasted for almost a year and the doctors kept telling her it was just a cold. Turned out that she had lung cancer.

Keep bugging the doctors and demanding tests, but try to hold out until after the baby is born.

Good luck!

I would be asking your doctor for a referral to a specialist.
