the code has been reset to something we dont now. Know how to reset a code when the original code is known, but how do we reset to something we want when we dont know the original code to enter? Will there be a default code?

Asked the tenants who swears it was working last week and they haven't touched it. However, we find the fuse missing and it could only be them who have removed it!

To nigel t. Thank you. It is that alarm. Have a friend who can deal with it for us and have decided to change locks as well to safeguard our new tenant. Why would the tenant who's left want to sabbotage the alarm and there's always a chance they've had duplicate keys cut and waiting til someone new moves in. For peace of mind, I have to be on the safe side, even though it seems I'm doubting them. Thanks to everyone who replied. Sadly, owning rental property is hard work and risky business!

If you referring to the Logic 6 panel, then I may be able to help. I am an alarm installer. You will need to email me quick and I shall need proof of your identity.

Start by asking the tenant. Perhaps it was unintentional. Next, try the place where you bought it.

It would be totally inappropriate to post the information that you are asking in any public place. Acually, it would really be inappropriate to tell even you. An honest repairperson would come out and do it, but would not divulge how it is done.

If that information was given out, it would make that model of alarm worthless. Would you buy an alarm where the method to bypass it was posted on the Internet?
