I was best friends with this girl for about 3 years. This year she meet some new people and got really close to them. I didn't connect to them like she did so I told her to ditch them. Instead of ditching them she ditched me. This happened about 4 months ago and to this day she will tell anyone who will listen awful things about me. She has turned all of my life long (and I'm talking about 9 year relationships here!) friends against me. Her and her friends have threatened to kick the **** outta me. And the list goes on and on.
I have found new friends that I'm happy with and all I wan't is for her to leave me the **** alone. But I have realised that this girl is either not right in the head or just obsessed with me. And it's not going to go away. Today was the last straw and I don't know what to do. I have thought about telling a guidance collesour but thought that I'd be wasting her time and mine. But thats what shes there for right? Anyways any advice on what to do?

I think she might have been mad because you were kinda acting like a jerk telling her to ditch her friends just because you didnt connect with them as good as her, so maybe theres a reason that shes mad at you.

You really did answer your own question - go to the guidance counsellor. That is what she's there for. She can listen to the problem and help in finding ways to solve it. You've done the right things so far in finding other friends and moving on. If this person was able to ruin long-time relationships they probably weren't worth saving to begin with. You can't really change what people will say about you, so you have to live your life for you and accept the little bumps in the road along the way with a good attitude. Good luck and God Bless.

This is exactly what they are there for. Tell your parents too.

Make them social workers earn their pay.

But also protect yourself from the intentions of these others by getting others invovled.
