As long as it's their own opinion and it is based upon true information.
Many times people have an opinion about something 'just because others have it', which actually really isn't their 'own' opinion, but that of others. And many times it is based upon false information, in which the reason for the 'opinion' wasn't even true to begin with.
Therefore, as long as it is trully coming from the individual and the person has all the facts, then everyone should be entiled to their own opinion. What do you think? Do you think everyone should be entiled to their opinion? Send me an email to discuss more in detail.

Well look at it this way. Opinions are habitual thoughts and thoughts are energy therefore eternal since energy cannot be destroyed. So our opinions are being shared whether we know it or not. And where does that take us? Simple ! If it makes someone feel good to share an opinion, then they should be entitled to it because their thoughts will tend to be positive if they are happy. And from the back door, this happens. Since they enjoy stating their opinion, like am now, the possibility of expressing it will be attracted to their life, like it is now. Those who feel good in a place where everyone must mind their own business and nothing more will wind up in a place and time where that is the rule, like the old communist Russia. So in order for everyone to be happy we have to have VARIETY. Peace!

The problem with making "universal laws" out of things like this is what happens when two "universal laws" conflict. For instance, consider that "murder is bad" is a "universal law". Now consider that "everyone should be entitled to their own opinion" is another "universal law". What if someone said "I hate you so much that I want to kill you," which law is more powerful? Is the meaningful threat so powerful that it is inevitably wrong to share such an opinion? Or, should everyone be entitled to their own opinion; as long as they dont ACT on their opinions in contradiction with the laws, they are okay and within their rights?
So, to answer your question, YES, but NOT ALWAYS! Often times opinions serve little purpose (or simply an indirect purpose), consider the argument "President Bush is a giant douche who can't give speeches worth beans," does this argument really predict that our President is used to clean womens' areas (and then disposed of) or that his speechmaking ability is barely worth a 30 cent can of beans? It may simply be made to make you consider that we should expect more from our President. But the way it was written defeats that purpose; that whom the comment might otherwise change the minds of (Bush supporters) would sooner publicly scorn the authors of such a phrase before they look for such an interpretation. So, provided you structure your comments to serve a purpose and maintain a minimum of dignity to fellow humans, you assuredly have a right to share them.

Whether or not someone is "entitled" to an opinion, that's anybody's guess. An opinion could be perceived as a "right to demand." Being entitled to it is opposite of a gift, in that it is without appreciation. An opinion is a "you owe me" obligation for which, I owe nothing in return.
Being entitled to an opinion is sort of a guarantee of access to benefits because of rights, or by agreement through law. It can also refer, in a more casual sense to someone's belief that they are deserving of some particular reward or benefit because they HAVE an opinion.
It is often used as a negative term in popular parlance (i.e. having an opinion about a 'sense of entitlement'). Like an opinion, the legal term, however, carries no value judgement, it simply denotes a right to have an opinion.

Everyone IS entitled to their own opinion unless you happen to live in a country where freedom of speech does not exist.Even then you can express an opinion but only to those you trust.Everyone however, is not entitled to the response they want when giving an opinion. That is completely up to the recipient of the opinion.

I believe everyone IS entitled to their opinion. It is a choice whether you want to be entitled or not. Everyone SHOULD be entitled to their opinion, it sounds like it not a choice, but it's a command.
Regardless, I believe everyone is entitled to his opinion, no matter if it's wrong or right. Everyone has the right to be heard and to speak so long as achieving greater good is the object civilizedly and respectfully.
Everyone is entitled to his opinion to correct that what is not right, promoting a better cause.
Everyone is entitled to his opinion to freely express himself morally.

I believe that people are entitled to their opinion only if their opinion has some research behind it and they actually know what they're talking about. There's nothing I hate more than somebody chipping in their two cents when they have never been in that situation, never heard of what you're talking about, or are taking a stance because they'd feel 'stupid' if you thought they didn't know. It's better to ask and find out the facts first instead of just making something up off the top of your head and tossing it out there for the sake of 'fitting in.' *steps down from soapbox*

'I am entitled to my own personal opinions. This is a freedom granted to those of us residing in the U.S.A. However; it would not be right of me to shove my opinions in someone else's face just to prove intelligence. Others have their own opinions. What would be correct is if two opinionated people combined their opinions to create sanctity for children and/or animals that need our help so desparately.

Everyone IS, not just should be, entitled to their opinion. It's something that can't be controlled. What should be controlled is their actions.
