Are you sensitive to sound and light? Do you get nauseas with these headaches? If you have a medical plan, get it checked out. I get horrible migranes. They first started as just bad headaches that would last for days or a couple of weeks. About a year ago they progressed and I would spend days in pain not going to work, in bed with pillows over my head to block out all sound. Dark curtains to block out light. I couldn't eat cuz I felt sick. Finally in October I went to see a doctor about them. They do bloodwork, an EKG (testing of brain waves, its painless), and a CatScan (kinda nerve racking and claustrophobic). I now have two perscriptions. Also, try eliminating any stress factors. If you work, and wake up forcing yourself to go to work, look for a new job. I did. Since switching my job two months ago, I have had one migrane. A lil stress related (the sudden job switch put me a bit behind on bills), but it was mostly sleep deprivation. A good nights sleep can effect your headaches as well. Drink plenty of water to help keep your brain hydrated, and exercise can help relieve tension.

No idea why you might be getting these headaches, are they possibly stress related?
My wife has a stressful job and used to get a lot of headaches.
For Christmas, someone gave us one of those light massager's you see on late night tv commercials. Pretty cheesy, but it actually works.
Not only does it help with her headaches, but my back and knees feel a ton better also.

Have you recently given up drinking caffine, smoking, etc. Then it would be withdrawls.
Have you had a concussion? I have had 3 and occassionally get a headache.
Are you stressed or tense for some reason? Try to relax and get a massage if you can.

sounds such as you popped a vertebrae or consistent with probability a disc, that's effecting the blood pass/blood-tension to your head... flow to your medical expert or the E.R...it is not some thing to clutter with! Left unattended, a ruptured disc might reason everlasting nerve harm and radiopathy (soreness & numbness to palms and legs) some thing you do not opt to stay with something of your existence... take it from somebody who has had it for 30+ years.....

It could be related to something that you are eating. Try cutting out caffine.
