I enjoy Dean Koontz, John Saul & Stephen King. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of other authors like them that I would enjoy?

Clive Barker is pretty good. Haven't read his short stories, but they're supposed to be amazing. I've read "The Damnation Game" and "Imajica," and the latter is one of the best books I've ever read. Those two books aren't as dark as King or Saul, but Barker is the creator of Candyman and Hellraiser, so that's something to his credit.
Another one worth checking out is Brian Keene. I bought "The Conqueror Worms" thinking it had to suck. I mean, c'mon, killer earthworms?? He shocked me with a pretty good read and one fun narrator. He won a Bram Stoker award for "The Rising", and I keep looking for more from him.
Speaking of Bram Stoker, "Dracula" is a must-read.
Another good option is looking for "The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror" or "The Mammoth Book of Best New Terror." They are collections of short stories in the horror field, and it's pretty easy to find someone fun there.
A lot of people like Neil Gaiman (I don't).
Best wishes.

Ridley Pearson is good. Michael Crichton has good techno-thrillers, Shirley Jackson is an excellent horror writer. James Patterson books are more psychological thrillers than horror, but good, too. A different style of writing, but the epitome of gothic fiction is Daphne DuMaurier. She wrote the short story that became the film The Birds. His Dark Materials books by Philip Pullman are fantasy, but have much of the same dark, supernatural horror-esque tones. Same with Neil Gaiman and Garth Nix' Abhorsen books.

Also, check with your local librarian. They can recommend good books based on what you like. See who wrote the blurbs on the back cover and the dust jacket flaps of books you like. Publishers usually get similar authors to write quotes of each other's stuff.

Jonathan Kellerman is better than Dean Koontz but with a similar style.

If you haven't read Richard Matheson's 'I Am Legend' go get it today!!!! If you like Stephen King, you'll love Matheson! He is the master!
