I have an over active liver and I see on this site that a coffee enema helps clear the liver of toxins. Is this true ?

Yes. A series of liver flushes will do it as well but coffee enemas will do it quicker and with less stress on your organs. I have done liver flushes...too chicken to try coffee enema.

Milk Thistle is supposed to help. My sister in law is on it right now for the same reason you mention..her bro is a doc and has her on a higher dose than on bottle to help her.

Also...Julia Chang has a product called Chinese Bitters which I am getting ready to order for the same thing... her site has loads of information that is good for educating yourself about your liver.(www.sensiblehealth.com)

GOOD LUCK! :)

Yes, I have read it in a health book years ago. You have to be very careful with it and should not do it yourself.
Good luck!
