I am wondering why I need to have a credit/debit card to use tesco internet phone.
Surely I could use it without one as I can buy top up credit in store.

Thanks for the help so far. But I couldn't use skype to make calls to Normal phones as I have no way of paying online.
Sureley though I can just buy credit in store at tesco for their internet phone?
I don't see why you would need a credit/debit card for this

So that they will always have a way to keep track of you and bill you if they need to, that is how everyone is. You think your getting a "FREE" trial, and they ask you for your credit card number so they can bill you next month if you dont cancel the membership..

I dont think it will work as there is no tesco in Pakistan. looolz Pakistan have very cheap offers in phone cards anyway. Just tell the person to buy from there, also you can get internet cards for 10 rs like Hungama and use internet phone.

use skype, free download, headsets from about £4 office world get your friends to do the same , then talk to them free!, there are other options in skype to purchase credit and use it to call whoever, i believe the rates are pretty good!

That's the way it works. If you don't like it then use another service such as SKYPE from Ebay.
