I love - "well I never" -
everyone sits on chairs in a circle except one person, that person is the "it" and they say "well I never____" and name something they've never done. All those who have done it have to get up and swap chairs, last on standing is it.
Have parachuted
Have driven
have waterskiied
have worn pantyhose
this can get pretty crazy, and you learn about each other too.

Kids generaly love crazy challenge games. I have one that isn't too messy. you put cups of water and other objects balanced throughout a homeade maze of chairs and tables. (cup of water hanging almost half off the edge of a table, hymnals balanced on end on the floor, cups with a little water hanging from strings on the ceiling, etc) then you blindfold a person and have another person try to direct them through the maze w/o tipping water or hymnals.
-----------
Magic tricks are also excellent if you are game to learn some.
