The "gravity" answers are correct, however, gravity doesn't "pull" - it warps or curves the space it inhabits. It is a spherical wave so any celestial body that has enough mass will create a spherical standing wave in space. The shape of the body is simply the gravity warping of space that is being exhibited by the mass that is present.

"you not in any respect see both together!" flow out the following day morning about an hour after daybreak. look contained in the east, and also you may see the growing sunlight. look contained in the west and also you may see the placing Moon. No, the daylight and Moon are completely diverse gadgets. The Moon is a small rock about a million/4 the diameter of the Earth, orbiting around the Earth once a month. The sunlight is a huge thermonuclear furnace over 100 cases the diameter of the Earth, and the Earth orbits it once a three hundred and sixty 5 days. How ought to you EVER imagine they were a similar element?

Gravity pulls everything to the center of any large body. A sphere is the shape that packs the most material closest to the center. The larger the body, the larger the gravity, and the rounder it gets.

Gravity.

The center of the Earth (or other massive celestial bodies like the Earth) is the center of its gravity, and gravity will pull inwards equally in all directions, causing it to assume a nearly round shape.
