...ALREADY.

things he has done, in chronological order, that have pissed me off-

1)made me promise to stop smoking (i know its onlu cos he cares)

2)made me promise to stop smoking pot (as above)

3)accused me of 'using him'-he wanted me to bunk school, pay for a train to come and see him (i usually get the school bus home, which is free) miss lunch in school (which is also free), and when i said 'ok, only if you buy me lunch' (a JOKE, i have paid for myself many times before as he is only 17 like me), he started getting all annoyed. i don't have nearly as much money as him anyway.

4)then next week we are having a meal with some friends, he said 'don't expect me to pay for your meal'. i don't expect him to pay, especially not ina group, but that's just RUDE, and i can't say anything because then i'll look like a goldigger. (if i wanted one, i've had plenty of chances which i dismissed in favour of him).

5)he STILL hasn't got me a present, or a card, for my birthday which was a month ago. he says he has it and it's at home, but i've seen him numerous times since then, and he hasn't given it to me, so its a load of BS.

6) we were talking about what we were doing next weekend, and i said i can't see him because im seeing my best friend all weekend (we are closer than any bpy will ever be, best friends for 6 years and talk 2 x a week on the phone but she moved in september and now lives miles away so i havn't seen her since xmas and she rarely comes down here). so he was like 'fine, no time for me then..'...uhm, NO, friends come before boys i think? i can see him whenever, he lives 5mins away.

am i right, or overreatcing? apart from all this he is the most wondeful sweet boyfriend i could wish for. but i'm starting to have doubts

Sounds like someone who does not honor his word. Also someone who blames others for his failings and projects his failings on others. Is this important to you? Are you better off with him or without him?
