Because they ARE stupid. They get talk shows because they are extremely liberal and gay. The networks like to brainwash the mindless dolts that watch these programs and agree with every absurd comment that comes out of their mouths.
Rosie is extremely ridiculous. I'm waiting for the day that she kills someone on the show due to a disagreement.

I don't care much about Tyra and Rosie...but Ellen is NOT stupid. She is very generous and caring not to mention fun and a great dancer. She is very down to earth and not afraid to be who she really is. She speaks her mind, but not in a way to ever offend some intentionally, and she isn't fake.
I attended one of her tapings and she was great. When other guests and myself were waiting in line for our tickets...as Ellen drove up to the studio parking lot she stopped, rolled her window, waved and yelled, " Hi, guys!"

I like Ellen so Im not gonna talk about her, but the other ones have fame and money so they believe that they can tell people how to live life

its all about what you prefer. i think ellen is great, but some people dont like her. jsut as i dont really like tyra and others love her. and rosie.. well shes interesting. i think different hosts are intended for different audiences...clearly you havent found the host that suits you!

Because even though they are dumb little talk shows they have a fan base or people that believe in whatever they believe in to and they are the voices for those whom dont have one.

When you have your own show and build a loyal fan base, you can afford to be stupid because people enjoy watching celebrities act stupid on tv (i ain't mad at him but remember tom cruise on oprah?)
