"But mom, WHY must we watch these reruns of "Gunsmoke" every damn day? They're like a trillion years old and as boring as all hell!!!" With our second TV out for repairs it had come down to this."Now if you really actually watched AND listened to the shows you would totally change your opinion" I offered, to which he replied, "I think you just have the hots for that old Marshal Matt Dillon, ma" I was quick to inform him that although I did find the Marshall rather fetching, that the show had many other merits such as great storylines and genuine characters unlike much of the crap currently available for viewing."Yea right, ma, I bet if you had a "flux capacitor" like in Back to the Future, you would go back in time and try to get with that Marshall Dillon!" I tossed a couch pillow at him "Don't be absurd" I said while to myself I was thinking"absolutely!" This got me to thinking, a time machine would be awesome! I could transport myself right to the very set of Gunsmoke, oh, baby would that be fun! Of course later on when I came back(if I did, that is!), I'd have allot of "splainin" to do. I was brought abruptly back to reality by the unsavory sounds of a "Flavor of Love" rerun blaring from the set, ah nostalgia!!

Oh baby lets remember Nostalgia and go back in time via a time-machine and watch Gunsmoke with Marshall Dillon and absolutely have a great time
Remember Chester had a limp. Festus was different. Chester was related to a friend of Grassy's family

Oh, baby. It was like stepping into a time machine that dropped me into a 1960's living room on "Gunsmoke" evening. The TV in a corner-- the kind with a fancy fruitwood case and the "rabbit ear" antenna on the top, the earth-tone braided rug in front for the kids to belly down on while they ate their TV dinners and watched Marshal Matt Dillon do his thing. The stodgy stuffed armchairs and couch, the wood panelling and the lacy curtains on the wall. I felt like I was ten years old again. Absolutely!

Ok, I'll give it a shot.
Today I got on a time machine to go back to the days of when they shot the tv show Gunsmoke. Marshal Matt Dillon was absolutely handsome, at least Miss Kitty thought so. In her mind, she always would go up to him and say, "oh baby, you are something!" When the time came for a wrap up, I got back on my time machine reflecting on the nostalgia of that era.
