Would you rather a crocodile attack you or an alligator?

An alligator.. Obviously (And while its attacking the gator i can watch from a safe distance)

hehe, I'd much rather that a crocodile attacks an alligator, but if it's either one attacking me, it would be alligator, just for the fact that they don't get as big as most crocodile species and they don't see us as a food item. You're much more likely to just be bitten and released by a gator than a croc.

In refrence to eric below me, alligators are -not- slow when they don't need to be. Like any reptile, they're not going to go running around being active for no reason. When it's time for an alligator to surge into action, they're more than able, and with the mindset that alligators are slow, you'd never ever ever know what hit you. Watch some nature films or go to an alligator farm at feeding time when it's warmed back up some, it'll change your mind about them being slow.

I honestly would not want to get bitten by either but If I had to choose I think I would take my chance with a gator over like a salty because In that case i would have no chance.

Gator. Crocs get a lot bigger and meaner, could eat me in one bite (OK, maybe 2.)
