Us bank has a second chance checking account and key bank has a debit card only account for people in check system.

I would look for a bank that does just telecheck with no credit checks. Telecheck and check systems do not share data yet.

I'm not knowledgeable about Chex Systems, but you might want to check new options for banks, like http://www.ingdirect.com/
...they just started offering checking accounts that are entirely paperless. They have offered savings accounts and mortgages for some time but the checking is new.

If Chex Systems (and I'm assuming it's a credit check or check bouncing history) is what will keep you from being approved, then it is probably best to call the banks and ask if they use that system of approval.

Otherwise their credit checks might be showing up on your credit report, and other institutions are going to see that checks were done and no account was opened, which can look pretty bad for you.

If you are looking to open a checking account and you have been reported to Chex Systems before, here are some tips..... if you have moved then your address would be different than the one that was under CS, so you might be able to open one anyway. Also, if you use a different form of your name than what CS has then that will work. The best thing would be to make arrangements to pay off the debt. They may lower the amount depending on the length of time it has been. Usually, all banks will use this system, so try ways around it, if you were reported.

you should likely shield the area with Chex platforms first. not certain about what monetary company to flow to, yet, any monetary company that used Chex platforms will likely not show you how to to open an account with them. contact Chex first and word what you should do to get rid of your information from their archives.
