If true, how so?

Also , does Northern Ireland still have religious fanatical Protestants who make laws forbidding things on Sunday?
Why is this??

Not anymore. England has turned Scotland into a welfare state by taking the rights to the North Seas. Ireland has swerved left in order to distance themselves from England and gain more allies on the continent.

it's sad to watch. theye were once proud people.

Don't know about Ireland, but the Tories are dying out in Scotland! they've only got one MP up here! So no, we're not more conservative than england, its the other way around!

The UK is generally liberal and progressive as opposed to authoritarian and conservative.
Sunday Trading has been relaxed across the UK, but there are religious fanatics still. I think Ireland is more socialist than the UK, Scotland I think leans more to the Lib Dems than England.
Everyone wants Labour out, and you can't ban religious groups unless they start bombing or trying to behead soldiers.
