If so what happened and also would the spirit attack my soul?

Yes, I've held a number of them. No, I've never been attacked by any spirit. The best defense is to surround yourself with a halo of golden or white light to protect you, but I've never really had to even do that. They are usually nice folks that are lonely and would like to talk. A single candle flame works best for me.

Seances are not real. There are no spirits, and they cannot attack you. Don't you think that if there were spirits that we would have proved it by now? After all these thousands of years? You're much too intelligent a person to believe in this nonsense.

YES! BUT proceed with caution if you do. you need to be in a circle of protection. when you open the portal to the "other side" you can let in good and bad spirits......be forewarned.
it takes time and practice to do it correctly. those who DO NOT BELEIVE.....are too scared to try.
i could go on, but why bother.....

I would take starz advice. Its possible but also very dangerous.
