the dollar is the only currency that oil is allowed to be traded in except the euro is there a link with iran?

There is no such thing as a Euro Dollar. There is the US Dollar and the Euro, used in Europe. The price of oil is set in US $ because the US economy rules. It has nothing to do with Iran.

DUDE - WHAT KIND OF NEWS ARE YOU WATCHING ANYHOW? - THERE IS NO MONOPOLY ON CURRENCIES! EACH COUNTRY WILL USE THEIR CURRENCY AS THEY FEEL FIT ! DO YOU LIVE ON A MOUNTAIN OR SOMETHING?THERE IS NO RULE THAT SAYS THAT ONLY DOLLARS ARE ALLOWED TO BUY OIL! HOW WOULD PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD PAY THEIR GASOLINE WITH?
