Do zodiac signs really have anything to do with people's personalities?

I am just wondering, if you are say......a water sign does that mean that most of the people around you are compatible to that sign?

You know.. it's funny. I never believed in that stuff at first, but then one day I happened to look up the birthdays of my ex's and the ones I had the best relationships with were the same ones that I was listed as being the most compatible with. I'm still not going to make a decision based on that, but it's just a little more information to take note of when you're trying to figure out if this person is right for you.

1. I admit it--I tend to believe everything I hear - yes. 2. I love animals and I never miss the opportunity to rescue a stray - yes. 3. I have seen the likenesses in people born around the same time for years. So I believe a person's zodiac sign very very often describes a person's characteristics.

I never really believed in them, and I am of the generation when "What is your sign?" was the pick-up line. But, I have seen that signs which are supposed to be compatible seem to be.

Hi Sassy, I am a Scottish guy living in Essex england east of london. I am a Picean and everything it says about Piceans ref me uis spot on. I am a big guy with a big heart, I have feelings for others, I hurt very easily, get very imotional etc etc etc. Nice to talk to you in the USA.

I never thought so until I read many books on horoscopes. All the people who say "it's total BS" about this or, in fact, anything, usually means they know nothing about the subject.

i think that we all have tendacies in our own personalities that in some way match what it says about when we were born, but there other factors that make our personalties such as our bloodlines and what we are exposed to in our environment and life time. sometimes it may be related to what it says about when we were born.
