when i got the car, it didn't have a manual and for a while, i thought the cruise control was "busted." on my way home from work sometime last week, i was playing with the buttons, and the cruise light came on. so i'm hoping its still functional.

Simple Test

With the car running, Push the Cruise ON button (anytime)

Above 35 MPH

40 plus best,,, Then Push the SET button
You set it right at the speed you want for the test

If it sets, It might be 2 MPH slower than what You set it at but let it ride that way for at least 5 miles.
Then hit the Accell Button, just click and it should speed up that 2 MPH more with each click.

To shut off.... Tap brake pedal, then you can test Resume button

To turn off... Push off button or turn Ign off...
You can just tap the brake then it will turn off when you turn the car off.
Just click On button each time you restart the car to use the cruise.

I can give you the general information. Look on the wheel or perhaps on the lever that does the turn signals for a series of buttons. There will be an off/on, either buttons or a slide switch. So turn it on. It goes off automatically with the key. Accelerate to the speed you wish to hold and push the button marked "set". The dash light should come on and that speed maintained. Hitting the brake will turn it off, "resume" will turn it back on. You will also see buttons for "coast" and "accelerate" and they do just that. Remember, don't use cruise on rainy days or on snow and ice.
