They way we're so driven by our egos and the way we treat animals and other human beings. It's actually embaressing to be human...if you were an alien, would you want to vist this planet after watching how cruel we are to things?

It makes me feel sick when I read about cruelty to animals. I could never deliberately be cruel to any living thing, and I think there are a lot of people out there like me. Don't let the minority of evil b****'s get you down.

Very good question friend. I think the world today is a cold black place to live. There are still good people but they are a dying breed. We live in a time where criminals behind bars are being given more rights and jails are holiday camps. People in old folk's homes are being neglected and abused and everyday we are never far from robbers, murderers, rapists, paedophiles, junkies, drunks and many others. Then we take a look at some of the atrocities committed by our fellow man such as the rape, murder and exile of thousands of american indians, the genocides in the middle east, the persecution of the jews, the slave trade and many more. If i were a visitor to this planet i would be truly heartbroken at what Man has become.

In life everything has balance, think about this, if there was no love how would you know what hate was? The Chinese have it with the ying and yang thing. You have black and white, light and dark, love and hate the list is endless, Its keeping the balance that's the difficult part, that is why society puts a stop to all the bad things that happen. You have Capitilists and then you have Communists, wherever you look there is an equal but opposite reaction.

First it would depend on what the aliens were like (peace loving vs flesh eating hell sent fiends). Two, no one can be nice to everyone all the time. Three, there are wonderful people in this world, just as many as there are nasty people. Four, sometimes it can be good to be nasty and finally, there is no black without white, there is no happiness without sadness ergo there is no innocence/goodness without evil.

I know, isnt it terrible! Worst of all are the people that sit around moaning all day and they don't do anything positive to improve the situation. Not like me of course. :)
