Pat Robertson or Fred Phelps. The Most Damaging is George W. Bush by far though. Fred Phelps doesn't have an impact on American Society, Bush does.

very good question. I'd SAY Fred Phelps, but is he really hurtful? He'd like to be, but just like when some str8 folks resent when we "throw our sex lives in their face" and therefore don't want to be around us, here is Freddy Phelps using the word "fag" every 3 seconds, and doing so at US soldier's funerals. Middle America don't play that. They hate him for doing that, and therefore, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" he is winning Middle America over to our side, the "let us live our lives how we should, and we won't make any issue about it" side.
Fred Phelps is doing more for getting Middle America to accept us as fellow humans than a nationwide broadcast of a gay pride parade ever did.
