That's me, all right. What do you want me to do, wear a sign around my neck that says, "Even though I'm not with anyone at the moment, I'm still gay!"? Sex isn't "a thing of the past" for me, by the way, just more arduous and much less of an everyday occurrence.

Of course you can be celibate and homosexual.
Homosexuality is an orientation. Celibacy is a behavior.
You probably do see older homosexuals. You just don't know they're homosexuals, since they don't go around wearing big flashing signs saying, "WE'RE HOMOSEXUALS!"

Certainly. Being gay doesn't mean you have sex with the same gender; it means that you WANT to have sex with the same gender. Choosing to be celibate is about sexual behavior, not sexual orientation.
I don't know about you, but I see quite a few older gay couples.

I don't mean to sound rude but I think you need to buy yourself a very good dictionary. You obviously do not know the definitions of "celibate" and "homosexual."
But to educate you as the others have...yes...one can be homosexual and abstain from sexual activity.

Homosexuality is not about having sex, it's about attraction. So yes, you can be gay and celibate.

Yep, look at the priests. Seriously though, my friend has an uncle that is a homosexual in his middle-late years. All he and his friends do is sit around and drink beer together, but in a gay way.

First question: you can, there is a Catholic association named Courage that help gay people who doesn't want to get sex.
Second question: You can see older gay couples, the sex is not the priority. As any straight couple what maintains together to any gay couple is having the same goals.

What the hell kind of question is that? And yes you can be celibate and be homosexual. Just like you can be heterosexual and celibate.

In most states, we are required to be celibate (i.e. UNMARRIED) since same-sex marriages are not yet legal.
Are you asking about CHASTENESS (i.e. not having sex)? Please use the correct term.
I see lots of LGBT people in their "golden years." There is a lesbian couple in my neighborhood, Del Lyon and Phyllis Martin, who have been together over 50 years.
