I have kit at home to last 48 hours.
Includes food, water, cash, crank radio (so I don't need to worry about batteries, tent, sleeping bag, first aid supplies and other things.
I carry the same in the car.
I am train in firefighting, EMT, and basic survial.

I do have a place to retreat to and can last for weeks.
