A lot of people are really insecure, and try to make up for it by taking some things very seriously.
There is a time for being serious, but you will usually just end up miserable and wasting time by being overly serious about things.
Most things that people forbid you from taking lightly are things that they are unsure about anyway.

it depends on what they're taking seriously. I like to have fun ut if someone's on here being disrespectful, I will get seriously and tell them where to shove it. Take it or leave it, if you don't wanna get reemed out, don't say disrespectful stuff. You gotta figure it's freedom of speech, and if a person is free enough to post another is free enough to take it seriously.

i try not to take polls and surveys to seriously, because the point of yahoo is to have fun here in polls and surveys, and we always just ask others opinions, there is nothing set in stone usually to answer the persons questions. So Have Fun.

I have learned to ignore people like that. At first I use to get so upset, but you know what? I am here to enjoy myself and this site is to have fun. So if they take things seriuosly it is their problem not yours Good Luck!

I guess it's because last Thursday I took my hamster to the obstetrician by mistake. Watching those little legs up in stirrups is hilarious, but what happens next is truly frightening....truly truly frightening.
