and do you think that the simon goes to far in what he says sometimes to the people that are trying to get on american idol

Of course. And the pre-judges put them through because it makes for good tv. They have to go through something like 6 sets of judges before they actually make it to Simon, Paula and Randy. Do you really think those three would sit there and watch all 10,000 people at every location?
I'd do it just to be able to meet Simon. He's soooo freakin' hot!

They do bad to get onto the auditions shows. They have to know they will never get into the actual competition, though. Thank goodness the real stuff will be starting soon! If I see someone saying "Simon can kiss my a**!" one more time I may barf.

When you go to an audition in a banana suit and maracas, do you really expect to be a contestant. The freak factor is half the show and people know it.

Of course they do. The worst ones make a name for themselves and get paid for it. William Hung made a ton of money. Anybody would act stupid for $$$$$

Yeah, some do it for TV. I can't believe that all those awful singers honestly believe that they are good.
