You can get a small platic tank that will fit over the side of your tank you have now. You can get it from most pet stores. Scoop out your fry and put them in the protected tank, so mom and dad wont eat them.

Feed them very finely crushed up flake food twice a day. They will grow, don't worry.

Their tails are suffering from being bitten, or fin rot. Make sure that you keep your tank clean (doing 25% water changes weekly)

How are you caring for the fry?
At some point, every hobbiest learns that how you raise the fry makes a BIG difference in how fast and how well they grow.
Fry are tough, but don't forget that they are, after all, just baby fish. They will not survive poor water conditions for long.

I would suggest that you set up a 10 or 20 gallon tank with a real filter (you can wrap a nylon sock around the filter intake so the babies don't get sucked in) and a heater set at 78F. And do weekly water changes. I am certain you will see a huge difference in health and rate of growth.
You can also help by feeding them baby brine shrimp and baby daphnia (frozen or live).

As you are finding out breeding many fish, including guppies, is very easy. It's raising the babies that is more difficult. The first thought that comes to my mind is that they are probably over crowded. This and the poor water quality is could cause is probbaly the scource of the fin damage and the deaths. You should have the babies in tanks of their own, one spawn per tank is best, but don't crowd them. Make sure to do large water changes very often even if you do have a good filter. You will need to watch carefully to be sure you are removing any uneaten food or dead fish from the tank as soon as possible. You will also want to remove any undesirable fish from the tank. This is called culling. Cull out any that are deformed as soon as you can see that. Seperate the males from the females as soon as possible as well. Feed them very often 4-5 times a day is good and always clean up the leftover food 15-20 minutes after feeding them.

As they grow, remove any that aren't the color you want. You can often trade them in at a pet shop or simply give them to the shop if they won't buy them. This will insure you have the best fish from the babies for you tanks and for future generations.

Hope this helps! MM
