No. If a person loves you primarily because you are beautiful, then it's not true love. Outer beauty only lasts so long -- it's much better to be loved for what's in your heart and your head. That kind of love lasts a very long time!

Think about if you were in an accident and your face or body was badly burned. Would your boyfriend / lover / husband still love you? If the answer is no, they never truly loved you to begin with.

First of all the bad news - Yes ! Second the good news. Everyone has their idea of beauty, although a lot of these ideas can be those conditioned by the media. Some people are into physical things first, 'sexy but', 'no gut' etc. Others get a charge out of personality types, 'shy and caring', 'wild and daring'. Others look for things in common like colour coordinated tattoos .But it's often the little things that play a role in cupid's bow. The special little things that make people beautiful, too. One thing is sure: you have to be beautiful to be loved. It comes in many sizes, colours, shapes, degrees, angles...etc. One person's fish is another's passion.

Not one bit..but saying that everyone is beautiful in one way or another. Everyones got good and bad qualities. Would you want to go out with the hottest guy in your town if he was a total n*b with u? Or would you rather have the local quiet guy who would treat you like a princess? We all have someone that loves us...whether they'll admit it or not! Some people will love you for one thing and cant stand us for another. Everyone will say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and honey...its so true! It doesn't matter what you look like...we can all be ugly ducklings...look what happened to him! But after iv wrote this essay...no it doesn't matter what we look like...Shrek found his princess xxx hope iv helped xxx

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Beauty comes from within

So looks are NOT what makes someone love you.

Of course not, It's inner beauty that matters the most. I have met some of the most physically attractive people and when I talk to them and get to know them they have the worst personalities. It's inner beauty that makes someone beautiful.

Okay first of all you don't have to be beautiful for you to be loved and if a guy says they love your looks and if you really feel that if you didn't wear your makeup or do your hair the way you do or if you wore different clothes that he would not like you then they are not the kind of person you need to be hanging out with. i know that it might be hard to believe but from my point of view i think that a persons personality should be all that matters, to be completely honest my boyfriend is not the best looking guy in the world, but his personality shines over all that. and i love him for who he is and not how he dresses or what he looks like.

yes and no because i think that if you are loved, the person who loves you has the power of making you feel beautiful and once you feel beautiful you will be beautiful!

NO! you do not have to be beautiful to be loved. It doesn't matter if you are any size or whatever. If you feel pretty you are pretty and let no one say any different. All boys are jerks if they say that you have to be a certain size or how beautiful. It doesn't matter as long as your personality matchs your loved ones. not totally though because that ruins relationships.
