I have never been snorkeling before but will have a chance to next month in Florida. Do they have any masks that can be used with glasses? Or do you have to have prescription lense inserts made.

Glasses and scuba can be done, but it is a major pain in the butt. Any good dive shop will have a selection of prescription lens masks and you can try them on until you find one that is close to your normal prescription. It may cost a tiny bit more to rent than a normal mask, but it is worth every penny to not have the hassle of a leaking mask.

The problem with trying to wear glasses under a mask is that the mask seal will be interrupted by the glass's ear piece.

You can buy a mask, and if you know your perscription, you can have the lens inserted. Many dive shops will have a variety perscription lens in stock.

I'm pretty sure they have masks that are big enough for glasses to stay on

the fast answer is that you ought to flow with out. you're able to have mask made with corrective lenses, yet i imagine they're extremely expensive. If it really is something you're going to do alot, you'll likely decide on to spend the money and get the corrective lenses. If it really is maximum probably a one time vacation, it ought to probable be value prohibitive. i'm a diver, yet I purely positioned on contacts.
