i told them that that have the wrong number and the keep calling back. dailing the same number again and again doesn't make it the right number

they think they are calling their cell phone company. but its not. When i tell them they yell at me about how there phone was shut off. So i tell them to pay there bill and shut up and stop calling the wrong place.

you gotta play with them a little. Pretend you are whoever they are looking for and tell them not to worry about it, the phone company will take care of everything, and then give them a fake name. When they do finally figure out the right number...hoo hoo will that be funny!!

Ignore morons like that. I once received a message from another Yahoo Answerer who said I was a bad and lazy mother for using a sippy cup with my daughter. At first it did make me mad but as I thought about it I refused to let it get to me. There are many ignorant people on here that just like to see if they can get a rise out of others. Don't give them the satisfaction...it isn't worth your time or effort.

Next time they call ask them what number they were dialling, do a three way call to connect them if you can, if not tell them to go use another phone or have someone else dial the number for them. GL.

Tell them no matter how many times they dial the same number they will still get you!
Or just act like you are the person they are trying to call!
My husband does that, like when something is broken, he tries to make it work over and by doing the same thing, I am like are you retarded? How many times does it need to NOT work before you realize doing that is not going to make it work??? weirdo

Next time take the call. Make up some rediculous stuff to answer their questions and they'll stop calling.

Tell them that their number has been traced and if they keep calling, you will alert the authorities to come to their house. That should do the trick.

You can just pretend to be the person that they want to talk to. and get it over with. maybe then they will stop bugging you. or just let your message on the phone pick it up. good luck.
