I am with Tiscali at the mo but my contract runs out on the 14th. I'm still having to pay BT for the line rental so would I be best of going on broadband with them? I'm trying to do this on the cheap so I welcome any advise please and does anyone no of any packages where I can get a wireless conection because I've just got a new laptop? Thanks! XX

Tiscali is actually doing a good deal now 14.99 2mb internet + free wekend calls.you pay nothing for line rental or 29.99 and you get free calls.

I use talk talk. People say they have had so many problems with talk talk but i have been using it for about 2 years, and i have never had a problem with it. You get free calls to any land line in the UK, plus you get to add 5 mobile numbers that you ring the most and they charge you less when you ring those mobiles. You also get free broadband with a 40 gig download limit, that is LOADS!! You cant even use up 20 gigs!! Up to 8mb speed whereas i think most other providers only give you 2mb or 4mb. I used to get bills of around £40-60 a month when i was with BT, now my bills come up to £23 every month!! They work out very very cheap and its a very good service!

Hi EMILY S. i am with sky broadband at the moment, its only £10 per month, had a few probs to start with but nothing i could not deal with. You have to be a sky subscriber though.

It depends on where you live.
I'm in TN, and I use Comcast cable - it is decent.
Check with your local cable company, and compare prices and advertised speed. See if you can find someone using the one you decide on so you can watch it in action - but keep in mind that some technologies speed will vary with your distance from the equipment, and the number of users in the area.

Orange, they used to be Wanadoo.
The connection is bulletproof and really fast + nothing ever goes wrong.

well i use talk talk and i must be honest i have had no problems with them.
I have free phone calls and broadband and no line rental all for £30.00 a month

We got our broadband with dell and it came with a free wireless card. ours internet is really fast too.

if you use sky, get sky broadband for £10 a month.you'll still have to use a bt line though.
super fast.
but if not, get cable
ntl or telewest.
