if the printer driver is still installed, pop in the cd and it should give you other programs to install. click on the name of the software you want and it should start the process.

I think that although most of the hardware repairers tell tht U just need to install the driver for the printer, it is better to install the whole software that comes along with the printer...I had prob with my Printer(HP D2360), I uninstalled the whole drivers and reinstalled with the complete software...now it's working perfectly...and also gives some suggestions and alerts which is good for users who dont have much idea about using it....

well if you dont have the CD with the drivers and software, you can go the HP website and you can find everything there but sometimes you have to pay for the software.

Usually HP products bring the info on how to COMPLETELY uninstall their software on the manuals. Try to find that, my F380 has it all in the manual.

try installing it again from the cd (not through autoplay) just choose setup from the cd and continue once it is installed then again uninstall it
remember ur device must be connected to the pc

once it is uninstall try check the details in C drive programs were there will be a few software support or website which will connect to the company website

You should be able to get updated drivers for your Hp at the HP download site. That should allow you to get them for your scanner.
