It means the battery is dying. Replace the battery.

You will need to replace the smoke alarm battery's this should fix the problem. After that test your smoke alarm, if it works it will beep for another 5 minutes then stop beeping.

The batteries are getting extremely Low. Replace them and it should be fine. Do this real soon. Because when the batteries are low the detector may not work if there really is a fire.

It could have a weak battery and it could sense the heat when cooking. Also, if you fry on top of the stove, the smoke from the pan could make it beep. First, I would change the battery.

Well that happens to me to but i found out that it is the battery it means it is low.
