Stop trying to guilt trip people into not supporting the war. It;s not going to change anyone's opinion.
Any death is unfortunate, especially the death of a young man in war. But the question of its needlessness isn't going to be something that anyone will compromise on, so your question is just an attempt at a huge guilt trip, nothing more.

yes we do,but Americans are very frustrated right now,we just elected Democrats to represent us in Washington, and the electorate sent a message to them to tell them that Americans are not in favor of the war in Iraq, but I guess the new representatives that were elected just don't get it.They still are going to allow Bush to send more troops over to the Middle East to get slaughtered by a bunch of animals involved in a Civil War.
We have no business being involved in another countries squabbles, unless it involved our nations security.
By the way, almost all of the 911 terrorist were from Saudi Arabia, who are supposedly our allies and friends, kind of makes you think doesn't it. Not one terrorist on that horrible day was from Iraq, yet we are protecting Saudi Arabia's interest by placing our troops over there..It does not make any sense to me at all,and I don't know why that our elected representatives cannot see what is really going on there.
Maybe someday ,the truth of the reasons why we are there will be brought out,but probably not in our life times.

Of course I acre, I also care about all the other people in the entire world who will die today of unnatural circumstances. How many abortions are done in a average day, how many children will die because of neglect from ignorant lazy parents? The list goes on and on.

Horrific. Why would you assume that this is a political question?

We all care. Some of us see that as a great reason to win in Iraq.

If I could change the way things are done, I would care, but there is nothing I can really do about it... I rather put my mind on better things. Too bad politicians don´t care, it would be their job to care and stop lying to everyone. The only way I can care is by voting and trying to avoid the worst politician to rule us.

I don't care about the damned helicopter, it's the dead I care about. How long is this senseless loss of life going to continue??

More lives waisted on a war that should not have been. I worry about all the people that die there on a daily basis. Every day more deaths are reported out of Iraq do you care about them?

yes I care a lot. we have the technowledgy to keep our troops much safer. The Pollititions keep putting there noses into the affairs of the armed forces, ware they don't belong , and the playing of politics, keeps what would make our troops safer, out of the picture

It's certainly sad, and I do care. However, society as a whole does not. teh war almost always gets thought of in terms of politics, not the human cost.
