I like President Bush. This is a difficult job and many people who think they can do it would have a hard time also. I feel he has represented his office with dignity. It is true that we are not liked very much right now, but we rarely are. We need to stay focused on National Security in my opinion and not worry about what people think.
From what I understand the President has very little true power over the economy, but considering what has been happening globally we seem to be in decent shape.
The government does not owe us anything as far as entitlements are concerned. Hopefully, programs like social security and medicare will be around when I need it, but it is not the government's job to support me. That is part of what makes this a free country.
Minimum wage shouldn't be required at all. It really just prevents abuse by employers, in my opinion. It isn't meant to live on. Those who make mininum wage, I would think, would want to either receive more traditional educational training or vocational training and move up and out of those jobs instead of just waiting to get a government mandated raise which will have negative ripple effect on the number of jobs available and the cost of goods and services (again from my perspective). Did the people in these position do everything in their power not to be in these positions? Did they finish high school? Did they try college or vocational trades? Did they develop a criminal history that prevents them from getting many jobs? I can't see how a person who hasn't tried all of this on their own could be upset with the President.
The American Dream is not about seeing how much the government can give us. It is about finding it ourselves. We as a group of people tend to look more and more to the government for solutions to our problems. I am guilty of doing that sometimes too. However, one thing I have noticed is that their solutions are usually not what I was looking for.
At this time of danger and war we should pull together. I think the some people think the President and Congress should give us whatever we want and do whatever we want just because we want it. We wouldn't stay a superpower very long. This is what protects us and allows us to be free.
We need to try to think outside the box sometimes. I know one thing for sure, I don't ever want his job! :)

Like there is no way anyone with a right man would like George Bush.He broke the 2nd Constitution by a preemptive strike against Iraq, he is doing his damnedest to go in on Iran. One of these days Air Force one will be in a junkyard. He even takes it to the store to buy him some bubble gum while he watches cartoons.

Honestly, I'm not a fan. But what can I do about it? I think there should be an impeachment. Why were they beginning the impeachment process while Clinton was in office sure he lied to the grand jury. But I think that losing soldiers hourly is far worse than lying. That's just my opinion.

Actually you are not looking for an opinion you just want to rile up the people who live in their parent's basement and work midnights stocking shelves at Krogers to wing out some radical slogans and big, bad talk. Thats all posts like this are for.

I think he is doing the best that he can and shows determination in what he sees as a just cause. I just think he is/was misguided in the initial decision to invade Iraq....
Right now he is reduced to making the least bad choice because there are no good choices left open....

Mr.BUSH should have never tried to become President, he has failed miserably as a leader and ruined the Country financially, was a divider not a uniter of the people, did not earn the trust, respect and confidence of the American people!!! Caused other Countries to look down on America!! Has kept eight(8)+ million American workers in poverty since 1997! 1997=$5.15 2010=$7.25!!!The actual increase amounts to 17.6cents an hour for waiting 12yrs for them to raise the minimum wage!! 12yrs THATS INSANE THANKS FOR NOTHING!! MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES!! Are we suppose to be grateful now for waiting 12yrs for a 17.6cent an hour increase in our paychecks!!! 12yrs,12yrs!! Would you work for 12yrs for a 17.6cent an hour increase in your paycheck!!!
