O.k. just curious, I didn't start to show with my first child until I was like 5 or 6 months. He is 10 years old and I am pregnant with # 2. I am 7 weeks and curious if I will show alot sooner with this pregnancy? Every says with your second pregnancy you begin to show sooner. Just curious to hear what others have to say?

LOL. My husband always laughs when people talk about pregnancies. He said upon conception I gained 10 pounds. It was so funny - yet true! The second time around I showed sooner, but I do believe it is due to the fact your stomach has already "stretched" before, so it just goes back sooner to the prior shape? I'm obviously not a doctor, however, that was the case for myself and many of my friends. With our first, I showed at about 3 months (little bump), our second, I started the bump late in the first month (I am also thin, which might have to do with it -- or not). And curiously, with both (one girl, one boy), I gained almost exactly the same amount of weight, although looked differently. I love motherhood! Good luck with your pregnancy. Enjoy!

Usually you do start to show sooner with your second pregnancy. I too started showing around 5 - 6 months with my first, and at around 4 months with my second. But remember, each person is different.

I dont know if i started to show sooner with this one but i could feel the difference in the way my clothes fit right away, like at 2 and a half months. With the last one i think i wanted to look pregnant right away so i started wearing maternity clothes pretty early, now i think i am more concerned with holding onto my body for as long as possible. I am 16 weeks right now and i can definitely see the bump but no one else has really started to notice yet so i dont know if i consider that i am showing yet. (but i am happily back in my maternity jeans, they are way too comfortable to resist)
Congratulations

It's different for everyone, with my first I showed around 6-7 months, and I didn't get real big. WIth my Second I didn't show until about 6 months either and even then it was small. I"m on my third right now and showed at 6 months .
It's different for everyone.

I had mine back to back. 16 months apart. I started showing at about 5-6 months with the first and 4 months with the second. I also gained 80 lbs both times (and lost it all too). :0)
Good Luck. Sounds like you'll have a helper too!

Well, I'm 15 weeks along and you wouldn't know I am pregnant. I can feel it in my clothes and my close friends and family can tell that I'm swelling a little...but at this time in my first pregnancy I was popped out wayyyy sooner. I think you pop out faster your first pregnancy, well that's the way it was for me.
I guess every pregnancy is different.

I joke with people that my tummy pooched out five minutes after the pregnancy test turned positive with my second. I did show much more quickly with my second and was in maternity clothes by about 10 to 12 weeks.

Ususally show much, much sooner with a second child. Everything is already stretched where it needs (and some places it doesn't ) to be. Congrats.

Yes you show sooner because your muscles are already stretched out.

I am showing at 9 weeks and I keep telling everyone that its just the shirt or that I am bloated
