No way. Bay Area is way too expensive for what you get. It's not worth it. LA is smoggy, polluted and the people suck. Both areas are totally over rated.

If my grandfather had not moved from Houston to the Bay Area, I might still be in Houston right now. I'm glad I was born in California.

Los Angeles is big and vast like Houston, but with mountains and palm trees.
LA is WAY more expensive than Houston, and the Bay Area is WAY more expensive than LA! Just to prepare you for sticker shock.

I use to live in the Bay Area and I loved it!! I live near LA county (I'm in OC) but I love it here too. I never lived in Texas, but CA is better!!

Being from houston, I liked LA, better weather. SF is great, just ccccold.
