You mean laptop?

If your going to run Microsoft Vista (new O/S they just released) you will want lots of memory (2Gb) and disk space (>100Mb)

You will probably want at least a 17" screen, certainly no less than 15.4".

Built in wireless (a.k.a. 802.11b/g), Ethernet port. Get a CD R/W mimimum, a DVD R/W would be better. You could get a larger battery, but unless you are going to be using it without access to an A/C outlet for long periods of time (on an airplane), its not necessary.

I would highly recommend a Apple Macbook, especially if you are into multi-media stuff, music, pictures, videos, etc..

Its way more functional, sleek and best of all you'll never have to say "laBtop" again...

well you should check the price, memory space, and the space in the hard drive. make sure it can connect to the Internet too. a wireless laptop is a great choice.

ARE YOU BUYING A USED OR NEW ONE?
DO YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A LAPTOP?
WHAT WILL YOU BE USING IT FOR?
ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS FIRST.
